My name is Calvin Pennick JR. Welcome to my books page. I believe that life is journey. God has blessed us with wonderful minds, capable of remarkable things. This page marks my beginning as author and publisher. It's something I have always wanted to do. I love photography, and I love sharing my knowledge with individuals interested in learning ways to survive as a photographer. I also love a multitude of other topics and want to explore those topics through books. I hope you enjoy this new chapter of my life that I have decided to share with the world.
My Story
Calvin Pennick JR has been is one of Houston's top 10 headshot and portrait photographers. His one on one sessions are relaxing and fun, taking away all the uneasiness of the whole experience that having your picture taken can be. Calvin's newest adventure is publishing. After 11 years of owning his own studio and 6 years as a full time photographer, he finally feels comfortable enough to share some of his knowledge of photography and even venture to tackle some subjects not related photography. He chose these new books to begin a new chapter of his journey as author.
Calvin studied photography and graphic design at Houston Community College in 2001, however he is mostly self taught. He considers himself to be a bit of a renaissance man, indulging in multiple interest throughout his life. He invites you to embark on this journey of discovery as dares to add author as one of his many titles.
